“I’m interested in the relationship between people and the built environment - how we shape the spaces we inhabit, and how they shape us. Good design develops from the inside out, responding to the emotional and functional needs of the people within. I am driven by the multidisciplinary nature of what we do, unlocking different expertise and perspectives and exploring the process of creating a space and place, from design to delivery.” Angela Spillane
Angela’s practice is driven by delivering projects that celebrate the experience of space, and that elevate place as an extension of culture. Studiospillane and our collaborators work together from a basis of strong relationships that span many years.
Angela is principal and design lead on every project. She spent 14 years leading the Interior Design team at Arkhefield Architects, where she was involved in over 20 restaurant designs, multiple hotel fit-outs, and several award-winning projects spanning the aviation, hospitality, multi-residential and retail sectors.
